SkyCaddie Golf

SkyCaddie GPS from SkyGolf – Revenue grew from $400,000 annually prior to the infomercial to over $80 million in Year Three. The Golf Agency created the SkyCaddie brand (formerly SkyGolf SG2), as well as produced, wrote and directed the extremely successful SkyCaddie infomercial. Peter Jacobsen, a multiple PGA Tour and Major Championship winner, was selected and personally recruited by Mike and Steve Abram as the endorser/host of the SkyCaddie infomercial. Golf GPS has become the hottest category in golf and the SkyCaddie has led the way.

Orlimar Golf

Orlimar Golf Company - Revenue grew from $1 million to $69 million in Year One (approximately $16 million net profit before taxes), reaching $101 million in Year Two. The Golfers Company named the Orlimar fairway wood the TriMetal, due to its revolutionary three-metal composite design. The infomercial that launched Dec. 31, 1997, was responsible for selling over 1 million units worldwide, allowing Orlimar to grow from an obscure San Francisco Bay Area company to a household brand almost overnight. The Golf Agency served as Orlimar’s agency of record and was instrumental in the first two years of the company’s rapid growth by making marketing, fulfillment, product design and identification, and public relations decisions.

AJ Golf

"AJ Reveals The Truth About Golf" - Revenue growth went from $0 to $14 million in Year One (over $3 million in profit before taxes) and $15 million in Year Two (over $3 million in net profit before taxes). The Golf Agency recruited AJ Bonar, an unknown golf instructor for over 40 years. His golf teaching concept was packaged into a five-part series continuity DVD program and infomercial. The videos dispel the myth of needing to have the perfect golf swing to hit solid golf shots. During a three-year period, AJ videos outsold all other teaching videos combined, including those from Butch Harmon and David Leadbetter, and have sold more than any other video series prodv uced during the past decade.

The Speed Stik

The Speed Stik - This is a successful golf swing training product and is sold/selling to— and through the network of green grass pro shops—off-course retailers, Internet retailers and national catalogs through in-house sales representatives. The Speed Stik has been marketed to consumers through a “long form” national infomercial hosted by CBS golf commentator Peter Kostis and endorsed by PGA Tour Player and Top 10 world ranked Vijay Singh. Speed Stik (a private company) is among the best-selling golf training products in the U.S. The most successful training products sell between 250,000 to 1 million plus units over a five-year period ($15 million to over $70 million).

Royal Precision

Royal Precision - In 1997, while Bob Burg was president of Royal Grip, he helped guide the company through a merger with Precision FM (maker of rifle shafts), a well-respected U.S. steel and graphite golf shaft company. The new company, now Royal Precision (royalprecision.com), strengthened its market position as a premier golf component supplier to manufacturers, retailers and club makers throughout the U.S., and the world.
